For over 25 years Dr. Zak Dental Care has lived by our core value of quality assurance, safety, accountability and benevolence. These enduring values guide us as we face the difficult challenge of responding to the Coronavirus (COVID-19) Pandemic. With this situation in mind, it is our duty to assist our fellow healthcare workers in hospitals and urgent care centers by providing access to emergency dental care. That being said, we must also do our part to limit the spread of COVID-19 by incorporating the need for social distancing in our dental care delivery process.
We are here to help with your Urgent dental needs. Zak Dental Team will continue to render limited treatment to resolve dental emergencies and help patients who are in pain. If you are experiencing pain, swelling, severe discomfort, or bleeding, please book your appointment online or give us a call.
Below is a summary of the ADDITIONAL safety precautions we are taking to reduce the spread of Covid-19. These are constantly updated as the situation with Covid-19 evolves.
Patients who are experiencing flu-like symptoms or who are aware of Covid-19 exposure, are urged to self quarantine and contact their healthcare provider, prior to scheduling an appointment.
All people PRIOR to entering our facilities are asked not to enter our facility if they are exhibiting flu like symptoms
All patients and team members get a temperature reading prior to entering our operatories. Those with elevated temperatures are asked to postpone their treatment, self quarantine, and contact their healthcare provider until their symptoms resolve. Team members with elevated temperature are also asked to go home and contact their healthcare provider.
We disinfect surfaces of our operatories between every patient
We ask all patients to wash their hands for 20 seconds and rinse their mouth with Hydrogen Peroxide solution prior to being seated in an operatory.
We disinfect our lobby area and check-in/check-out counters at least once an hour and even more frequency for commonly touched surfaces such as door knobs.
And it goes without saying...that we are continually adhering to our rigorous disinfectant, sterilization, and safety protocols as we always have.
For patients who come to their appointment in their car, We ask that they wait in their car while waiting to be seen.
Please feel free to reach out to us if you have any questions or concerns.
We are here to help!
